“Hawaiians have long honored Pele, the fiery goddess of the volcano. We have created a wine to honor her tempestuous, passionate spirit. Volcano Red is a medium-bodied blend of 70% Ruby Red Cabernet, 15% Muscat Dry, and 15% local, exotic jaboticaba berries.

This easy-drinking semi-sweet offers juicy layers of candied cherry and fresh cranberry notes, which combine with a soft peppery finish to mimic Pele’s smoldering heart.”

Jaboticaba berries are a tropical fruit native to Brazil, now also grown in Hawaii and other tropical regions.
