Elderberry Semi-Dry

Elderberry Semi-Dry

Monday, April 15, 2013

The unique berry taste of elderberry, finished semi-dry. Our elderberry wines are made in a pinot noir style: fruity, low to moderate tannins, light oak, very drinkable, and good with most foods. Great when used for cooking – especially sautés and pasta sauces.

Note: Picture shows the semi-sweet version of this wine.

Infusion Tea Wine

Infusion Tea Wine

Monday, September 17, 2012

Experience this fresh, 100% Hawaiian take on a familiar pairing… tea and honey!

Infusion Tea Wine is a bright, crisp honey wine that blends the best of the Island. During fermentation, our winemakers infuse the tank of our South Kona Macadamia Nut Honey Wine with black tea from our estate in the Volcano-area rainforest to create a vibrant taste sensation.

Honey of the front end, tea on the finish. With a residual sugar content normally in the “sweet” range, Infusion Tea Wine actually tastes semi-dry to semi-sweet thanks to the tannins in the black tea. This unique wine is slightly caffeinated: The half-sized bottle contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee.

Enjoy well-chilled as an aperitif or with company on a Sunday afternoon. For a twist on the hot toddy, serve warm with a squeeze of lemon.

A crisp, refreshing cider featuring the floral and citrus flavors of Cascade hops. Dry, bright, and grassy with grapefruit and pine notes. A cider tribute to the Northwest IPA.

Serve chilled in the glass of your choice. Bring a bottle to a barbecue, a ballgame, an oyster shucking, or a patio picnic. Enjoy with salty and savory foods like fish tacos, pizza, Bavarian pretzels, spicy noodles, salami, or even just a bowl of popcorn.

Small batch production year-round featuring cider fermented on the farm using 100% organic apple juice pressed from Washington apples. We ferment the juice to dry, then steep with Salmon-Safe/organic whole-leaf Cascade hops for up to three days, for additional depth and flavor, and to appease the hop-lovers on the crew. Lightly carbonated. Contains no gluten ingredients.

Huckleberry d’Latah

Huckleberry d’Latah

Thursday, September 22, 2011

Latah Creek’s signature product known as “Spokane’s #1 wine,” is a 70-30 blend of Washington Riesling and Chenin Blanc with huckleberry juice and concentrate.

First released in 1996, it’s become a breakout favorite and now accounts for roughly half the winery’s production. It’s a wine that surprises people—in the best way.

What makes it stand out is balance. While “huckleberry” might suggest something sweet and jammy, the fruit itself is naturally tart—more like a wild blueberry with a bright edge. When blended with Riesling’s natural acidity and a touch of residual sugar, the result is a wine that’s vibrant, crisp, and refreshing rather than overly sweet.

In the glass, it’s expressive and inviting. Aromas of bold berry and honeysuckle lead into layered flavors of blueberry, pear, and delicate florals. A clean кислотy backbone carries through to a lingering finish with hints of minerality and subtle spice.

This is an easy wine to enjoy, but not a simple one. It’s equally at home on its own or paired with food—think citrus-forward salads, pork, grilled chicken, or light summer dishes.

Huckleberry d’Latah is a great introduction to fruit-driven wine done right: balanced, approachable, and just different enough to keep you coming back for another glass.

This semi-dry wine has dark red fruit aromas with a hint of spice, followed by robust, sweet, and subtly tart cherry flavors.

“A true expression of northern Michigan cherries. In making this product, we celebrate the iconic fruit of this region and aim for a versatile wine to be enjoyed at any meal. In the summer, it’s an excellent base for sangria, and in the winter it’s fantastic warmed or mulled with spices.”
