Excellent acidity counters the 8% residual sugar, making for a well balanced, slightly sweet wine made from juicy, estate-grown Tennessee blackberries. This Century Farm-made wine approaches dessert wine status with its relatively high-for-fruit-wine alcohol content (12.5%) and 8% residual sugar, but the alcohol level is lower than typical dessert wines, and great acidity tempers the sweetness. Plus, it presents in a full-sized 750ml wine bottle. Consider the Century Farm Blackberry Wine either a drinkable, semi-sweet dessert wine or a powerful, hearty fruit wine. Or both.
