Hard apple cider is fortified with Black Star’s own Spirit of Apple brandy and sweetened with maple syrup cooked over an open fire to create this port-style dessert wine. Nice balance between apple, maple and barrel flavors, with pleasant, lingering maple at the finish. Perfect for late-season enjoyment as a football Saturday tailgate, autumnal nightcap, or in front of the fireplace over the winter months.
Also a great way to add a bite to pancakes, apple pies, or other harvest-time desserts. Smooth, rustic, sweet on the lips. Will age nicely five-ten years. Made with local apples and local syrup from the surrounding woods.
