Experience this fresh, 100% Hawaiian take on a familiar pairing… tea and honey!
Infusion is a bright, crisp wine that blends the best of the Island. During fermentation, Volcano Winery winemakers infuse the tank of South Kona macadamia nut honey wine with black tea from their estate in the Volcano-area rainforest to create a vibrant taste sensation.
Honey of the front end, tea on the finish. With a residual sugar content normally in the “sweet” range (6%), Infusion actually tastes semi-dry to semi-sweet thanks to the tannins in the black tea. This unique honey wine is slightly caffeinated: the half-sized bottle contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee.
Enjoy well-chilled as an aperitif or with company on a Sunday afternoon. For a twist on the hot toddy, serve warm with a squeeze of lemon.
